Can Save Lives is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of learners in any course.
For most people, the physical activity involved in a First Aid Services course should not pose a threat to your health.
There are a small number of people who may find the physical activities in this course strenuous. If you have any of the health conditions listed below, Can Save Lives recommend that you do not participate in the skills practice until you have checked with your personal physician/nurse practitioner.
- A history of a heart attack or other heart conditions,
- Respiratory problems
- Other physical disabilities,
- Or are pregnant.
If you are unsure if you should participate in any aspect of the course involving physical activity, please see your course instructor before the course begins.
Should you wish to remain in the course but cannot perform all of the required skills, you cannot successfully complete the course and receive certification
It is always possible to postpone scheduled training sessions to a later date that might better suit your schedule at no charge by notifying us at least four (4) business days prior training session start date if you are unable to attend the course. If not, registrants will be charged the full cost of the course. Registrants who fail to attend schedule class will be charged the full cost of the course. All courses are subject to confirmation and can be cancelled on three (3) days notice.
Our clinic requires at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling. * Cancellations within 24 hours of the service you scheduled will be charged 50% of the regular fee. * Additionally, it is your responsibility as a patient to verify your insurance coverage amounts and exclusions where they exist. We greatly appreciate your respect and cooperation in managing the schedule. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time and wear appropriate clothing. Thank you.
