Courses on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR you choose.  All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines.

Level A:

  • 4 hours in length
  • 100% attendance, skill demonstration and 75% minimum passing grade on written exam
  • Certified for 3 years
  • Recertification not available for this level
  • Course content includes
  • The first aider’s role
  • Check, call, care
  • HAINES recovery position
  • Choking- adult
  • Assisting with medication
  • Angina and heart attack
  • Stroke
  • CPR- Adult
  • Deadly bleeding

 

Level C:

  • 5 hours in length
  • 100% attendance, skill demonstration and 75% minimum passing grade on written exam
  • Certified for 3 years
  • Recertification 4 hours
  • Level A content
  • Choking- Child and B aby
  • CPR – Child and Baby

 

Level HCP:

  • 6 hours in length
  • 100% attendance, skill demonstration and 75% minimum passing grade on written exam
  • Certified for 3 years
  • Recertification 4 hours

  • Rescue breathing- Adult, Child and Baby
  • BVM- Adult, Child, and Baby
  • Two rescuer CPR – Adult, Child and Baby
